New old watch: Cartier dumont extra plat

Happy New Year all!

Got this lovely little thing about a month ago as a present to myself for taking up a new job. Have barely left my wrist since - find it absolutely exquisite with its enamel dial, yellow gold hue and 4 mm height. 

One thing I only got to notice recently is how the bezel seems to be in a slightly different hue of yellow gold. I know they made these in two-tone but could it be that they used a different alloy even in the pure yellow gold version?

Thank you both! It’s a Nomos strap I had lying around. Would like something more cognac/burgundy coloured as well: thinking perhaps a cordovan strap? I know croco would be the classic choice and I like that as well. But then again, remembering that this i...

the lovely small thin case is exquisite and I once had the platinum version which I regrettably sold. I don't think the dial was enamel though but I may be wrong.

I really like the size and proportions of this Dumont. And I never considered suede straps until now. Looks very good together!
