Looks vintage
The largest (50cm) one is not a vintage, it's actually only 5 years old.
It's the allowed size for on board luggage and for me large enough for a 6 day city trip.
The smaller (40cm) Damier case was a special order and is very new.
It will take about a year for the blond leather handle and label to turn darker, as the other one.
They are great classic cases to travel with, but one has to bear in mind that they're quite heavy,
since they're made out of wood.

I like the look of the larger one
I have to be honest I dislike the Louis Vuitton monogram canvas, which is so prevalent it's almost an epidemic. But I must admit the large case looks classic and almost vintage. Do they make slimmer attache cases like that? - SJX
