Had the Santos been my only watch with a blue dial, I would not have traded it.

But for me, 3 watches with blue dials in a wardrobe of 13 or 14 was one too many. Especially when one of them is this ๐:
I agree that the gradient blue dial on the Santos is terrific. I'm also intrigued by the new gray dial model, but have yet to see it in the metal. Ultimately the decision to trade was driven by keeping balance in my small collection and the more interesting horological properties of the Santos chrono.
Meanwhile, good luck on your quest for blue - there so many great blue options out there these days along with the Santos: the Tank MC, the JLC MUT, the new Montblanc Geosphere, the Longines Master Moonphase, the gradient blue Baumatic, the Aqua Terras, the Presage models and the GS "Skyflake," the new Autavia, the current GO Sixties "Ice Blue" models, and a bunch of Zenith Pilots - not to mention the more expensive stuff, like C. Moser or the VC Overseas. Choosing could be hard - but fun!
