Cartier Tank Cintrée 100th Anniversary joins the collection on Christmas Eve
Dec 24, 2021,13:29 PM
I received a call from the Boutique and was asked if I wanted to collect this 100th Anniversary edition of the Cintrée. Of course there is no other answer. No time like the present!
With a gorgeous dimension of 46mm x 23 mm and only 6.4 mm thin, it sits really well on my wrist. This beauty (ref WGTA0057) is driven by a manually wound caliber 9780 MC, which I understand is based on a Jaeger LeCoultre thin movement
Here are some photos to share. The crown is set with a cabochon sapphire and is designed to be as pointy/tall as the 1920s version. Nice detail. A close up look on the dial reveals a very pleasant rough texture.
Finally, here is the watch I wore to collect the new watch. The Cartier Basculante ref 2390 from 1999.
I wish you and all at home a very Merry Christmas. Stay safe and keep healthy !
