hi all i would greatly appreciate comments and views on the daniel roth chronograph utilising the el primero movement---is that standard movement for his chronos? best henry

Hi, Daniel Roth (the brand) used the El primero calibre for some time but also used the Lemania manual wind calibre also found in the Breguet or Vacheron constantin models, and some automatic Frederic Piguet chronograph calibres. Cheers Dje

The El Primero was the standard for the entry level to mid range chronos for about 10 years. The high end chronos during that time mostly used the Lemania 2310, though some pieces used new old stock Valjoux calibres and others. In the early 2000s, the El ... 

this brings up another query.What was the basis for the different movemnts used here---better horologically,more accurate,more elegant? i thoyght the el primero movement was a much sought after and sound movement? appreciate your views henry
