Well...it does look like Bulgari might make good use of the brands it has absorbed... Just a photo, but looking good and very respectful with the Genta heritage... I think I may, after all, give Bulgari the benefit of the doubt. )

The title of the press release is "Gerald Genta" Octo .... instead of "Bulgari" Octo... So far this is looking good IMO. Cheers, Anthony

Hi Anthony, Sorry for the confusion, I just made a correction to the header of the release. The official name is the Bulgari Collection Gerald Genta. I agree with you, I'm glad to see that Bulgari did not completely drop the Gerald Genta name and kept it ...

Hi Tony P, Welcome to the Bulgari forum! Nice picture of the Octo Tourbillon. What camera, exposure and focal length did you use to take the shot? Any pics of the caseback? As for the logo, how about if Bulgari places the BVLGARI logo where the current GG...

aside from the complication in the movement which is mouth watering , i believe joining the brands together just to everything up to the next level. from my personal level i would never look to its as bulgari , in my eyes it will always remain GERALD GENT...

Good question Daos. You're very close about the 'eye'. It's actually a semi-precious stone and a variety of tiger's eye. The falcon's eye cabochon is a midnight blue almost dark grayish quartz and is set in the crown of the watches in the Gerald Genta Oct...

Based on this photo I think the way Bulgari prints the dial will work as it's not too cluttered. Hope to see them in person soon! -MW

...the names on the dials seem unobtrusive and secondary. I believe the watch still retains the essence of Gerald Genta and that is the important thing.
