Bulgari

Hmmm this is a difficult choice for me

I liked the black dialed version of the Gerald Genta Gefica very much.  To me when I saw it in person, it's probably was the most "Genta" watch that I liked and possibly the "perfect" Genta that best suited me.

But with this new Bulgari designed Gefica, I do also like this cleaner look.  The new font on the dial is more modern and and slightly reminds me of the futuristic looking Montblanc TimeWalker font.

One thing which I think plays a decent role in the change of the look is the color of the numerals on the hour disc.  The numbers on the hour disc on the Gerald Genta Gefica are red colored while black colored on the Bulgari variant.

I find the Bulgari variant very clean, but I think the design may be a a little "too safe".  Bulgari should have been a tad more daring with the redesign, and my suggestion to them is to bring back the red colored numerals on the hour disc.  I think this added slight splash of red on the hour disc numerals would give the Bulgari Gefica the extra "umpf" it needs for me to like it as much as the original Gerald Genta version.

I took the liberty of doing a quick photoshop job so you guys can see how this extra red compliments the dial IMO.

Cheers,
Anthony
