The Definitive Tradition Tourbillon in pics
After the schock of meeting the Marine Alarm, my contact at Breguet showed me the definitive version of the Tradition Tourbillon.
Here, the Breguet spirit is totally respected!
Compared to the prototype, the plexy was changed for a sapphire, and allows much less distorsion when you look at the dial:

On this following pic, you will see the " fusée à chaine " system:

It really makes you think of a pocet watch on the wrist, due to its generous dimensions, and to its very Vintage look.
Same feeling on the case back:

To be honest, I much prefer the normal " La Tradition ", for its size and thinness, while the thickness is disturbing me a bit on the Tourbillon.
But I'm still wondering what would be my thoughts if the Tradition without Tourbillon didn't exist.
Would it change my position on this Tourbillon?
And you, what do you think?
Best,
Nicolas

Brilliants Pics....

As mentioned in the past, I personally would rather have this as a pocket watch as how it should be imo. The size of it dictates it so. If it is made as a wristwatch it should be wearable as one. I remembered trying both the La Tradition and the Prototype...

Lovely pics. Funny matter is that for me at least, the thickness works. How so? Upon closer inspection in the metal, this piece strikes me as trying its best to replicate the pocket watch aesthetics directly transplanting that feeling to a a wrist watch. ...

I see what you mean...A pocket watch on the wrist...That is exactly the idea! Well, to be honest, this watch let me a bit perplex, as I said. Much better with the sapphire than with the Plexy, but still very thick, while the Technology of the fusée à chai...

I can't wait to one day somehow compare the RL PLM with this one. Both current wonders sporting chain and fusee which to me is a wonderful execution of horological marvel hence my interest in both. I think the Breguet is more romantic despite it being mor...
