Breguet

I came across a very nice Breguet Aeronavale on stainless steel bracelet without boxes and papers that I am trying to date. I have an email into Breguet but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone can help. I know the newer Aeronavales have a reference ... 

Hi Mark, To my kowledge, the automatic Type XX was introduced around 1994 in the Aeronavale version and was indeed the Ref. 3800. The earlier, manual wind Type XXs may have been manufactured into the '80s, but they were almost certainly NOT on steel brace... 

You are absolutely right John. Breguet got back to me within a few days and dated the watch to the late 1990's. I appreciate your response and will post pictures once I get the watch in my hands!
