New acquisition

I have not written about my new addition to my small stable.
I would like to amend this lapse.
Here is my Breguet Type XXI ref 3817 in stainless steel.
It checks a lot on my must have list of a watch. It is on the larger and “chunkier” side, mechanical, automatic, closer to tool watch category that easily can be a daily wearer.
If it is a chronograph, it must have a central minutes counter.
This sums pretty much up the list.
This watch stands out with its understated elegance and quiet sophistication.

Ever since I saw the Only Watch edition of this watch in platinum, it was on my “look out for it” list. And her it is. Improved on the original with making it ss and making the date background is the same color as the dial ( instead of white)!
Over the years I developed an interest in the Lemania 1340 movement. This interest slowly grew into a “collecting goal or desire ”. In a previous post I included a picture of the foursome I have so far.
