I've been searching for weeks for a Breguet forum and finally chanced upon you today. I've been taken in by the Heritage Chrono in white gold... arguably the most visually arresting tonneau available, IMHO. Saw one at The Hour Glass in Singapore three weeks ago and was pleased to see that the watch is even more appealing in person... subtle, elegant yet powerful.
My hesitance is this: how is the quality of their movements (overall, and in particular the 5460)? I can't seem to find any information on their mechanical/technical integrity. I'm familiar with the illustrious history of the House of Breguet, and can attest to their physical beauty and apparent built quality of the casing & dials... but would appreciate ANY information at all on what ticks inside, as well as any insights as to what the Swatch Group has in store for this venerable brand.
btw, and PLEASE don't let this affect your opinions/comments.... but the other watch I've selected as this year's finalist for purchase is an A. Lange & Sohn Lange 1 (white gold, MOP guilloche dial).
Thanks to everyone in advance!
