The original rubber strap is great, but the deployant is a pain on my wrist. I’m trying to get a standard pin buckle ordered so swapped out to this cordovan some years back and enjoying it a lot

If only they had a more comfortable deployant for smaller wrists. Thankfully the 20mm lug measurements allow for multiple strap options

The rubber strap will be back on. I’ve asked the AD to help me get something suitable and they’re scheduled to get back to me on Monday. Fingers crossed

I've never tried but always thought that the buckle of the original deployant could possibly be removed from the articulated parts and attached directly to the rubber strap. Looking at the buckle and the strap end, they seem to match. Maybe you can ask yo... 

Unfortunately, the underside of the buckle has strap guides, where you have to thread the strap through. Not possible to do that while putting the watch on without dropping it. ...  

Yea. It works for my small wrist. You just need to removed the folding components. ...  

The guides on the buckle won't definitely make it easy to put the watch on and off, but maybe you can find a way: folding the strap a bit pushing from the sides, for instance. If you do it sat down on the bed or coach, you can prevent major accidents. Not... 

this watch is pure and simple and has a lot of character and wrist presence. Even the date window is harmoniously integrated in the dial. For me one of the best Breguets. Many congrats Thomas

It seems to me that one of the Breguet reps once told me that the buckle on the deployant could be used as a pin buckle. It does have all the parts. May save a bit of money. Beautiful watch. I’d try a shot of the other side but your picture was so good it...  

It doesn't work in practicality as there are the strap guides on the underside of the buckle. That makes it rather impossible to thread through with one hand while trying to wear the watch.

I had the strap lying on top of the guides because I needed the second to last hole. Doesn’t matter much with the deployant but it would with just the buckle. Not sure what the rep had in mind but it certainly isn’t designed for that.
