I would go....
for the date model- it is .5mm bigger and the watch is thick with a bubble case.
The ultimate test is to try them both on and see which fits your wrist better and which one you like better

thanks for your feedback, PP. i am not familiar with the dealer, but i found one - older - positive reference on Purist Pro. In any case this is not an AD but a dealer of used watches, they provide a 6 months warranty but hey, i would not depend too much ...
