I have to disagree ....

 

.... since the Type XXI suffers from the common luxury syndrome of many fine timepieces: It is considered cheap to simply lacquer the hands with white paint, so what you get are perfectly polished steel hands, sometimes even plated with a hi-gloss rhodium finish.The result is that these hands, the stop second, the hour counter and the sweep second, become unvisible in nearly all lighting conditions. That the crystal does not have an antireflective coating outside, doesn't really help. However, the most impostant hand on the Type XXI is the central minute counter, and that is satinized, and therefore perfectly visible.
