Change of plan, new aquisition arrived at lunchtime so i've swapped watches
i've been waiting for this to arrive for about 10 days so it was nice to get it at Lunchtime. i've had a chance to take some pics for your pleasure.
Ladies and gentlemen please give a big hand (or wrist) for a 1960 Gruen Airflight, the only 12 hour 24 hour watch in existence(i think). effectively the hours show 1-12 then at midday they click over to 13-24. very nifty, mint condition with original boxes. the last of my vintage pieces for a while i think.
i've just realised there's no pics of it in am mode. i'll post some and take some movement shots later.
