Beautiful piece
I have seen this in the metal, it is beautifully proportioned, and looks like a pocket watch. Big congrats!
The fluted edges and lugs are very beautiful. I can imagine admiring the fluted sides if I have this piece.
It’s quite expensive, where I saw it, around AUD$56k before discounts (if there was any). In that ballpark there are Patek Calatrava Pilot Hometime (about 8k more), some Lange pieces (with spare change), and the fabled FPJ Chronometre Bleu (which is unobtanium on the first hand market).
What were the other pieces you had considered before buying this?
