...I have never, ever read on any review wether said 24hr indicator is fixed to the main time movement or if it operates independently, and thus can be used for a true second time zone. Can anyone confirm this???

Hi Guys, I have always been puzzled as to why my type XXI has a subdial that indicates if it is day or night (subdial on the right)? Unless you have been on an extended pub crawl surely you will always know if it is day or night? I would be very intereste...

As we all know, setting the date of your watch around midnight can harm it. At the very least, a 24 hour readout of the time can indicate whether it's safe to change the date or not. ...

But if your watch has stopped, you likely wont know if your watch reads 11pm or 11 am. If it was 11 am, you could freely set your date and time. If your watch was set for 11pm, you would first need to advance your time past midnight to the morning of the ...

you can only use it as a GMT for a zone 12 hours away from the one you are in
