Which original "tool watch" from the past ...
is still a tool watch this days? Do you know any?
Like this the FF ...
at least feels like a tool watch
The current FF (Ref. 5015) in the pure steel version is a hiqh quality product. Would not like to see a new FF at the quality level of the old (vintage) ones.
(I don´t speak about the very appealing charme (of some, after so many years), only the all over quality.)
But I would applaud if Blancpain would introduce an "entry level" FF, called Bathyscape for example, which shows pure FF DNA but without sophistaced features
(e.g. "unfinished" movement) and maybe 2 or 3 mm smaller.

The in house Blancpain 1185 is truly a wonderful movement. So good in fact that Vacheron uses it for all of its automatic chronographs and Audemars uses it for its Royal Oak chronograph. Another who relies on it is Bulgari. Just a little perspective on ho...
