Special tool to change strap
Jan 03, 2019,00:09 AM
Thanks for help.. I took my mil spec to a Blancpain AD (we don’t have a Blancpain boutique here), and they need to send it to a watchmaker with the right tool.
So I want to know
1. Should I buy the special tool from Blancpain? Will it make the job easier? Or its hard still?
2. Get the watchmaker to remove it and replace it with single shoulder spring bar? Then it will be easy to change going forward, But less secure?
Thanks guys!

The size is perfect, for me at least, and it really executes the tribute well. I have not had the chance to use it in everyday life, but I agree with your statement about the 'sweet spot'. Oh, and great to see it used for its intended purpose. Well done. ...
Many thanks...

Your photos look outstanding! Are the straps Blancpain or third party? Do you have a place to get the single shoulder spring Bars? Cheers Peter
Thanks..
