this old lady looks stunning, beautiful dial, beautiful insert with no cracks which is rare. These primitive FFs are a complex and fascinating subject! there are so many versions! I am just wondering how come the back says Milspec which can be consistant ... 

I am not at all an expert on vintage FF, therefore I had to rely on some facts: This watch was part of the FF exhibition and it was checked for authentency by experts, result said it is a genuine and exceptional piece. To my limited knowledge, the Milspec...

Thanks to those of you who raised some questions about my watch! After some more research I found out that it is actually a Milspec that underwent a dial change. Some more flaws appeared, and with the help of some here I was able to drill down further and... 

without a big loss is good, at the end. When I tried the world of vintage I made mistakes and learned my lessons. Lucky me I made money at the same time - without fooling anybody (!). The later was very important to me! Am I ready for another vintage less... 

hi, that was exactly my question! the vintage world is complex especially when it comes to rare pieces like that. I don't see anything wrong with retro fitting some pieces from others to get a stunning piece whereastaken individually each could be imperfe... 

Your first Vintage FF has to be an undisputable one. ( The later, too, by the way. :) ) As I already told you, your time will come, my friend. Best, Nicolas
