Blancpain

No that is incorrect

Both the Big Indian and Mark 11 are 44mm and absolutely identical.

Here is a Mark 11 6B/346 from my friend. 44mm next to 47mm Weems. Next to 36mm 6B/159.

You see it is clearly marked 6B/346

The Big Indian is marked with only an broad arrow and number. It doesn't say the reference to the spec 6B/346 like the IWC and JLC.

Here is another 6B/346
Curious Curio in Japan

It is thought only 100 were made with issue numbers starting from 100-year but no way 200 were made.

There are many more Big Indians as the case number range is more. There is no clear theory of what the Big Indian was used for. They could be rejected 6B/346 surplus repurposed. Ultimately RAF went with the IWC and JLC and not the Longines.

Big Indian Left , Mark 11 Right note the hands give it away. The hands are straight on a Big Indian. Mark 11 hands are cathedral.

Mark 11
