Blancpain

Hello friends!!

I wish to share my joy of getting a watch that has been haunting my soul since it was announced during Basel 2017.

I started to hunt it inmediately but for some personal reasons I had to abandon the search for many months, and when I returned to the search it has been elusive to me and I was told in several places I searched that the limited edition of 500 examples is sold out, at least offciaily.

Last month a good friend of mine who lives near Geneve phoned me with an exciting news: he had found one example left at the Blancpain Geneve Boutique and he purchased it for me. I was so excited with the good news!!  but  then I had to wait till end of this year for him to visit my Country for the Holidays and bring it to me.

Fortunately he found the way of sending me the watch through another friend so it arrived to my hands yesterday night.

I felt like touching the sky after so many months of coveting this timepiece.

I really love the watch, specially the smaller 40,5 mm case as the regular modern  FF 45 mm case looks too big on my wrist. This size looks more vintage I feel and more comfortable for me. The only critic is of course the date window, but I´m so happy with the new watch that I forgive this detail! Lol!!

I took a few pictures in haste just to share them here. I hope to take better ones soon!

I´m still looking after my vintage FF for my collection, but in the meantime I got this superb watch to enjoy!!
