Blancpain sapphire caseback...
Back in the day I had an Air command which I sent to Germany after much searching to have a display back installed. The gold rotor and workmanship were always a joy to behold and for me added much enjoyment compared tio the original closed back.
It never affected the value when sold the piece as I included the standard closed back and the watch was fully water resistant as well.

how often do you look at the caseback of your other display back watches ? Is it really worth the trouble ? Are you guaranteed that it will be water resistant ?
