The movement is working as new and the dials/hands are not restored. The crown is not a fake replecement.
Other brands with new 'old' designs of chronographs are Breguet, AP, Zenith, Omega....

when i saw that rg capeland chrono. that is a beautiful piece and i'm incredibly pleased to see something like this come out of b&m. i hope they continue in this vein in years to come.
I was a tad surprised myself
As someone pointed out, many brands are going back the vintage chronograph route. Breguet, AP, Omega, Zenith, PP etc but not at Baume & Mercier pricing...well, except maybe Zenith. Regards, MTF

why oh why oh why...
..did they have to spoil such a beautiful looking watch as the new Capeland with a DATE display? - it absolutely destroys the vintage look. what a shame, they should have followed GO on the Sixties Chrono who avoided compromising the balance of the watch ...
