I used to hate washing cars.

Until I recently found out about using a DI water filter and an air blaster. It takes way less than half the time and I never have to use a towel to do any drying.

The water where I live is quite hard, 350 PPM of total dissolved solids so water spotting is a major pain in the ass. This thing drops it to 3 PPM!

The air blaster also takes care of all of those pesky water traps like lug nut pockets, side view mirror housings etc. You know the ones that continue to drip for the next three hours.

I use a pressure washer because the flow rate of the filters is 2 GPM or less for them to function properly. I make sure that I never hold the nozzle any closer to the car than I would to the back of my hand. Any closer and the pressure can damage sensitive items on the car.

Added bonus, you use a tiny fraction of the water you normally would, see how little water is on my driveway.

Enjoy!
