Those blue lights...

 

As the WanderingPurist told me, "I was just doing flow of traffic!" and man, that Chevy Cruzer was DEEP DEEP cover! Not an external marking anywhere, and the blue and red lights were DEEPLY hidden behind the grill.  Even the sheriff was plainclothes...

In cases like this, it ain't about public safety, but about revenue.

But at least the deputies were respectful and professional; the uniformed deputy that was called even seemed to take an interest in the SLS and extended his hand in a handshake when all was said and done. Made the bitter pill a little easier to swallow.

I told the WanderingPurist, regardless of "flow of traffic" you gotta know the rules and what's going on...and take it to the track!

Speaking of which, a PuristSPro track event is coming up!

Do you carry driving music for every season? When a car can also get you home confidently and safely in that weather you know it is well engineered. Thanks for the video and I wish Unotaz better driving conditions. Andrew Ps. Good to have you home safely....

Hi, Andrew, The drive from Atlanta to Birmingham to attend a Porsche 918 dynamic experience (hot laps in the passenger seat, then seat time in other Porsche models, at the home of the Porsche Performance Driving School) was truly eye opening - the perform...

A friend took me to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Richard Petty Experience. I rode with a driver for three laps at 165 mph and then drove 8 laps in a modified Nascar with a driver in the passenger seat, they controlled the engine output %. I look f...
