Thanks, Thomas. It's actually a '78 so it originally had rubber bumpers. I converted it to chrome about ten years ago.

It was my daily driver back in the '80 but then spent about 20 years neglected and undriven in my garage until I decided I either had to get rid of it or get it back on the road. To motivate myself to do the work, I decided converting to chrome, lowering the suspension, and making other modifications would make it worthwhile to me.

I was helping him work on his 1990 MR2 at the same time. Spent almost the entire day doing that. During a break he helped me with the MG.

this is always something I wanted to do with my boys. And of course it is never too late as they are in their late teens. But currently I lack the space and the skills. I can believe you cherish these moments. Br, Dirk
