Any G class drivers here? Your thoughts good or bad. Considering pulling the trigger on 2015 G63 AMG.

It is iconic, looks like nothing else on the road, sounds lovely (different regs than MB passenger cars so \'fruitier\') and will keep a better resale value than your average MB. And the dimensions are more manageable than with most modern SUVs. On the ot... 

You're absolutely right, I am very familiar with the G63 and also owned a G55 and also daily drive a Cayenne 958 GTS. The G63 is a huge improvement over the G55 in terms of cabin comfort and design and road handling but even so dynamically is no where nea...  

I will be having an extended test drive later today and hopefully will help me decide. This will be my daily driver my since MB lease is up later on this month. Will keep you guys posted and will surely post pics .

Drove the G class loved it but saw a 14 Cayenne Turbo S ( drove it and loved it more well the wife did ), as she puts it the G class looks like a box with wheels, now its getting complicated, I still feel G class is still out in front. Well i have till mi... 

Buying or leasing, time you intend to keep it... Not sure about the U.S. but in Europe the G class traditionally keeps the highest resale value of all MBs, while Cayennes tend to be worth next to nothing over a comparable timeframe. But where she\'s right... 

Cayennes do drop in resale value ( saw a few older ones on the lot and its going for cheap ), Looks like my wife will OK the G class ( had to bribe her ), seems like a logical choice, given its brand new plus excellent lease discounts and terms plus resal... 

On an unrelated note, we used to assemble the wheels for the G until December last year, before we sold the operation. The only platform still running on batch, rather than JIS procedure

Really something quite special, that car is. Can't decide on the color; black or white?
