And, I owned the E90 sedan version which is slightly better due to improved chassis rigidity 😉👌🏎️

How in many cases BMW doesn’t manage to up the magic when transitioning from sedan to coupe but rather dampen it. Z8 was not as special as the then M5, M8 nowadays less so than the equivalent M5, in M3/M4 the Coupes tended to be a tad heavier and not as p... 

Depending on which configuration you prefer, one could well call BMW coupes the 'bane' of the company.... Nowadays though, perhaps ironically, the only car they make that remotely tickles my fancy is the M2 Competition........

The chainsaw massacre design does not appeal and in terms of mechanics and dynamics I find it more a M3/M4 minis rather than a distillation of the concept into a higher sphere 🤷🏻‍♂️ The fact that it performs indifferently in tests is neither here nor ther... 

It's not a car I would ever buy, but I bet I'd have some fun driving it around a bit ....

Had an E46 M3 over 20 years ago, and I still miss it. Owned a bunch of cars since, and none got under my skin like the E46 did.

Just plain weird the fatties!

The E90/92 cannot touch it.

I still have my 2011 E90 M3. Still such a great car all these years later.
