Depending on which configuration you prefer, one could well call BMW coupes the 'bane' of the company.... Nowadays though, perhaps ironically, the only car they make that remotely tickles my fancy is the M2 Competition........
That one leaves me cold for instance 😊🤷🏻♂️
The chainsaw massacre design does not appeal and in terms of mechanics and dynamics I find it more a M3/M4 minis rather than a distillation of the concept into a higher sphere 🤷🏻♂️ The fact that it performs indifferently in tests is neither here nor ther...

Had an E46 M3 over 20 years ago, and I still miss it. Owned a bunch of cars since, and none got under my skin like the E46 did.
One of BMW's greatest M cars. Hope you guys hit redline multiple times during your drive. It's quite an experience.
I still have my 2011 E90 M3. Still such a great car all these years later.
