Keeping the BMW trend going, the OG M5
The most all around fun car I ever owned. Track and auto-x on the weekends, daily driver to work during the week, and not bad for the occasional road trip if the A/C was working. Similar to the Z4M, the e28M5 got the fastest BMW steering rack at the time and the shell was stiffer than the e24 coupe. Not enough brake or spring, nose heavy, and the unique transmission was delicate but you could feel all of it. I could feel an overworked tire, tell which brakes were going front to back, and the tranny would go from sluggish when cold, clicky when warm, and eventually angry with no second gear when way too hot.

We had a 5 series of this generation when I was a kid (albeit a less exciting one) and I remember the penchant of the AC to break down in summer 😂🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for the pictures 🙏🏻

My wife had a 528e -our daughter came home in a storm one night -she had run over a tree and actually drove several miles with a log somehow attached under the vehicle. The damage was minimal

We here in Europe have fine car news! The commission decided 2035 was to early to ban new gasoline cars. A Dutch guy knows how the European can industry have troubles to produce EV’s, so he said that the ban would be later in this century. For Volkswagen ...
