Keeping the BMW trend going, the OG M5

 










The most all around fun car I ever owned. Track and auto-x on the weekends, daily driver to work during the week, and not bad for the occasional road trip if the A/C was working. Similar to the Z4M, the e28M5 got the fastest BMW steering rack at the time and the shell was stiffer than the e24 coupe. Not enough brake or spring, nose heavy, and the unique transmission was delicate but you could feel all of it. I could feel an overworked tire, tell which brakes were going front to back, and the tranny would go from sluggish when cold, clicky when warm, and eventually angry with no second gear when way too hot.
