I believe you are not alone in feeling the Vette was not for you after getting it. I have found a good handful of Vette guys don't understand that the Blackwing motor is an enhanced version of the C7 Z06 motor. In fact the guy who owns the one in my post above told me GM does not make it any more... he was a bit surprised when I told him my car has it right under the hood

I would not trade my Blackwing for either of these Vettes, but they are nice looking. I suspect I am in the minority, but I prefer the looks of the C7 to the C8. The one shown here is a 2017 Z06. ...

The C7 is indeed the black one (dark graphite actually, beautiful in person) on the right side. That car was made in 2017 and has the Z06 package, which has the LT4 motor. Same one used in my Blackwing
The Blackwing 'should' be a sleeper...
...but I've seen a few around my neighborhood and they definitely have presence.

I have to admit, even though it is not at all my thing, I have had a ton of compliments on the car. They are so rare in Colorado, especially the 5, and then with the manual transmission - people who know what the car is go nuts to see it.
