I did get the to exchange a few words with one of them...
most of the drivers (and passengers - all the cars were fitted with laptops and lots of wired connections) were a bit standoffish.
One of the drivers was pretty cool though, and we did exchange a few words. What we discussed, though, he sealed with a finger to his lips, so I'm honor bound to keep his comments confidential.

I was on my way to leave when one, then two, then three, four, five, SIX pulled in, one after the other... Final shakedown runs dialing in the final specs and settings ... It was like turning around at the restaurant and bumping into Peter Mueller or Walt...
there's an old chinese saying...
"hang out in the night long enough and you'll eventually bump into ghosts." See what kind of cool things one gets to see actually getting out into the sun and the real world once in awhile, away from the dark dungeon with the internet connection? Mwahahah...
The funny thing is...
that AMG is faster in a straight line than any of those Porsches! :-)
