Don your goggles, scarf, and leather jacket for colder weather, possibly add earmuffs for highway use! Have you considered buying one of the Caterham-built modern Sevens?

I think the car is such a joy to drive and own
that even if one was allowed to drive only for 30 days a year, one would have a smile for the rest of the year!!

in case you want to go fast
and you haven't got the cash for a full-on Caterham, you can do a kit with say, M-Power + Turbo OR just spring for a 427 Cobra kit (if you want more "protection") ...
