13 years ago I looked at a Lancia Stratos at a car show, that was for sale for $80,000, now it is $495,000. If only other investments kept up this pace
I'd probably spend a bit less on the car, spend a bit more on watches.
I can't imagine deriving pleasure of use that's proportional to the price, but to each his own. Then again, most people I know think I'm nuts for spending $10,000 on a watch, so we're all sorta in this boat. Best, Tim
