Audi TT. An old love.

Nov 05, 2020,14:26 PM

When I discovered the TT Concept, in 1995, it was love at first sight. I can even say that it was the first time I really fell in love with an Audi.

The Concept:

At the point I got one, in August 1999. A TT 1.8 180 HP.

Which I sold some years after. One of the cars I missed the most.

Since then I always had an eye on the TT, and maybe I will get one, one of these days.

When I say one, I mean the MK1, the first generation, which I find it is the purest.

Here is a normal one, the convertible version, with its superb basket ball seats:

Audi released some superb special editions, such as this one, which is a " good bye " version, the Design Edition, with a bit more power ( 240 HP instead of the normal 225 HP ):

And the Le Mans Edition, which is limited to 20 pieces:

Here again, between the convertible and the coupé, I prefer the Coupé. But still, this is no bad choice.

A marvel, a character, and a funny car to drive.

Best,

Nicolas

She drives her black TT 1.8 with great pleasure until today. Always serviced by our local Audi Center. By the way it‘s not only an iconic design, it‘s quite practical. If you put the back seats down there is a really big compartment under the back hood ;-...
