Overpowering engine, can be scary to drive...

Don't press the "SPORT" button, every time you breath on the gas pedal you'll risk a tire burnout. Drive it gently until you're in 3rd gear before you become liberal with the gas pedal.
Overall, a nice car. Impractical. A lot of the metal in the interior of the car gets very hot to touch in the summer time. There are a few members who have owned one of these.
Try to get a later version, the 2012 Virage is a good one with the ceramic brakes. Have a good relationship with the dealer. Drive it like a daily driver and keep it under the warranty which costs $8000 for 3 years (in USA, don't know about Europe). Aston Martins of this era eat brake pads. Rapide pads are quite thin (around 8mm), check the DB9 as it depends on year and if you have ceramic brakes. Vantage pads are thick but the computer traction control system is constantly dragging on one of the rear pads whenever you're taking a turn requiring frequent rear pad replacements.
Engine has an amazing sound. Symphonic. I'd give the season tickets to the opera to my neighbor.
Driver door strut wears out.
Get a DBS if you can afford the premium. It's basically a carbon fiber bodied DB9.
Park it indoors. Lots of condensation in headlights and taillights. Consider a V8 Vantage for better reliability (it's also easier to drive as it's not overpowered), if you don't specifically need the DB9.
