And this is why I have convertibles instead SUVs

I took the Lotus out this morning for a drive - the first one in 3-4 months due to a variety of maladies (me, not the car) and I remembered why 3 of our 6 cars have soft tops. It's cool, crisp and beautiful at the moment, so I came home to pick up Mrs C and head back out for a longer drive.

Cheers,

Cazalea

Great car, lots of fun to drive. Bravo! Alas, if you mean a Bentley GT soft top convertible, might i humbly suggest looking up "holes in top', "rear glass just falls out' and "Bentley GT convertible roof problems". Then smartly buy a Lotus instead

How about a few more photos Mike …

Along the way we faced a electrical system dilemma (not roof problems) as the fuel gauge read 3/4 tank, AND the EMPTY warning light came on. How to diagnose? Trust the fuel gauge and keep driving? OR fill it and see how much it takes? Since option 1 might...

Thanks Mike…

She looks very nice in the sunshine. I have found memories of driving a rare black one.

Back into a soft top after a 10yr break, been enjoying it full time. Deep down inside I am more of a motorcycle person but cabs offer 90% of the fun with 1% of the risks. I do miss bikes on occasion but give me a cab over a tin roof any day of the year!

I have been doing a drive around our county (desert, mountains) at least once a year in the Lotus(es) since about 2000

Something like this (from my GPS plotter) from elevation near sea level 100 ft to 4500 ft to -276 below sea level and back Cazalea ...

Wow what a drive!
