Automotive

Actually yes I do and always have done.

It is called driving safely which is even more important in a big and powerful car and especially at speed. Anything can and does happen on a road at any time  hence the word accident and seriously one hand on the wheel even with the best power steering in any car is just  asking for trouble. If you were offering me a lift and driving fast on an Autobahn with just one hand on the wheel I would either request you use both hands or drop me off as soon as possible. You may well be as good as an F! driver but all it takes is a pothole something to fall off another vehicle or an idiot doing something stupid and you are I'm afraid to say an accident waiting to happen. I wish you no harm and hope if you continue your driving style you continue to be lucky. Whilst I didn't understand your comment I never in a million years expected your answer to be that. Ask a motor division policeman what he thinks and I think you may be surprised that not only would he not approve but if he saw you he would issue you a fine and points as a minimum as you are not fully in control of the car and could be fined for driving without due care and attention or worse. Also like you I have been driving 48 years and have done many track days over that time but prefer to drive safely especially at speed.
