300 SL Club Meeting 40th anniversary 60+ 300SLs attending

Since I was one of the founders of the club back in1978 I was invited to attend, even without a car. Bought my first Gullwing in 1972 and sold my last Gullwing in 1984. As for Roadsters........ a different story to be told sometime in the future..... Drove up to the meeting in my 20 year old S-class on open German roads in perfect conditions at speeds a 300 SL would have much difficulty to match...
Cheers
Richard

Thank you for the snapshot. Still, the Sonderklasse is the vehicle which has always represented M-B foremost. If I ever get one for myself there is no doubt which one it shall be . Cheers, Filip
