...although since my son's a mechanic, he ends up teaching me a thing or two alone the way, at least when it comes to more modern cars.

I was helping him work on his 1990 MR2 at the same time. Spent almost the entire day doing that. During a break he helped me with the MG.

this is always something I wanted to do with my boys. And of course it is never too late as they are in their late teens. But currently I lack the space and the skills. I can believe you cherish these moments. Br, Dirk
