160 cavalino! Rode a 1098 for 8 years and 60000 km, one of the best Ducs i had,.... but then again, i never a bad Ducati!
1098 and 1198 are bonkers !
I tried them on a few occasions but i felt more at home on the 848, same for the Streetfighters. Actually the 1198 is too much, low down torque was amazing and it was impossible to go slower than 70 kph. ...
I rather loved that torque
As for the transmission, a lager rear sprocket did miracles, same as on my old 996. These big L-twins are just a delight. Grtz,Dom

and the dry clutches and the E3 emissions/noise standards was like the golden combo imo. Also electronics you can fully deactivate. I can imagine how much fun you had!!

How the exhaust system mechanism holds the pipes. How did that sound? Tube construction. Your machine needs fast tracks.

I was accelerating that V4 a couple of weeks ago, reaching 260 suddenly the heavy original mirror came loose and hit my helmet 😂. The Streetfighter is good for speeds up to 240 or so, if you wanna go faster you have to buy the Panigale which should easily...

Re the 848, I am a bit like Dom, having a heavy preference for the 1098 displacement engine, due to the torque and suspension/brakes/etc Having said that the 848 is a great bike dont get me wrong 😇 Buona Pasquetta Bim! Alex
