You could go the other way and put it in the 48mm Offshore case
Now you’d have plenty of room for a nice thick bezel without disturbing the bridge work.

quite big but very interesting And with a hefty price tag too ...
I like this, never seen it before.
However, the one thing that gives me pause is that it doesn't look like an AP once the bezel is cut away like that. It wasn't immediately obvious to me that this was in fact an AP. What do you think? Is there enough AP RO in this for you?

And it just didn't sing to me. Maybe it is one of those designs that just takes a little time to get used to. I can think of several watches I did not like when they originally came out but later came to appreciate. All the best, NickO
