Yes, China is amazing!!
I'm very glad you enjoyed your trip! Last year, my wife and I had the pleasure of an extended three week vacation to China. We visited five cities as well as some very rural locations. We didn't begin to scratch the surface of the country. We have travelled most of the globe, but this was an experience like no other. One of my favorite moments (and there were many!) was one night after dinner my wife sat in the bar for an hour with our Chinese guide. They talked about their love of jewelry, the pressures of being a working woman, the shortcomings of their husbands(!) and their hopes and desires for the future. It was amazing how much they had in common. We are all so different, and yet all so much alike.
As an American, I sincerely wish more of my fellow country men and women would venture outside our borders more. It really does provide a new perspective to life. I look forward to heading back, and next time we are in Beijing we'll make sure to check out the AP boutique!

To visit a culture so different than ours is eye opening. The Chinese people I met are very meticulous, hard working, and prideful. I hold those qualities dear myself, and naturally respect others who do.

I visited China primarily for business purposes. My associate there was with me when we visited the boutique. It was all I could do the get the shots and coverage I did ;-)
Excellent coverage.... but looking for more 44 footage :-)
Love the pictures, inventory, and commentary... Beijing is an awesome city, but I can't help but wish for some pictures of the 44 inventory?!
I hope you can accept my apology as I did not handle any 44s this time.
Maybe some other photos I have snapped in the past will help ...

As I replied above to Ed, my Chinese associate was with me. It was an eye opening experience for him to see such expensive watches up close. For obvious reasons, I did not overdo it. And for the only time ever, I was glad I was not wearing an AP!
