New 42mm Royal Oak Offshores on the factory website

 By: MichaelC : September 1st, 2021-16:13
I'm afraid I'm mobile and can't create a detailed post, but there are some cool new 42s available. The chronographs feature the new flyback movement and new dials. Titanium, steel, gold. Good to see this collection living on in the wake of the 43mm line b...

Very cool looking.

Indeed, this light blue dial.

Unique for sure.

Very “Gulf”

You nailed it!!!

Wow. Very cool.

How did they move the date from 4:30 to 3? I thought that that was an unchangeable feature of the new flyback chronograph?

I think they just moved the date window rather than the date?

 By: Sho-nuff : September 8th, 2021-15:34
Since the dates are all on a date wheel and the date at the 3 o'clock position is facing the correct way up

Makes sense. Which begs the question: how did they rotate the chrono sundials?

 By: Lankysudanese : September 8th, 2021-15:57
Since those are usually integral parts of an integrated chrono movement

I saw them on hodinkee...

That blue dial with orange 🍊 looks sweet. Also, the white gold and ceramic diver is hot, only 300 though.

I saw that Diver.

A sure sellout, but not for me.

Gulf colors...👍

...

I do like that GULF

Nice.

Thanks for sharing, Michael. Best, V.

I am sold on the new 43s.

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2021-23:39
But very glad they keep the 42s.

Indeed. The all titanium black/grey dial is pretty cool too.

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2021-23:40
And the green. I'm such a hard sell!

I don't have the technical information Mo

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2021-23:41
The caliber does have its own # of course, but I am not certain how they moved things around.

They have inserted an extra plate in the movement to achieve the dial reconfiguration

 By: Sho-nuff : September 8th, 2021-15:28
Notice how the 42mm still has a date magnification window whereas the 43mm range doesn't need it? I am guessing it's because the extra plate in the 42mm model means the date is now recessed too deeply and needs a magnifier.

Very cool Colors!

Fun one here.

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2021-23:41

I’m still curious to know if there will be any more 44mm ROOs.

 By: ArmisT : September 1st, 2021-23:32
But these are some nice color ways for sure.

If they have all of the tooling set up, why not?

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2021-23:42
Then again, 42-43-44... let's hope they don't add half mm models too!

+1

Are the pushers rubber again?

 By: kennygfunk : September 2nd, 2021-03:36
It looks like it in the image, but I understand that it's not an actual picture of the watch.

Sadly yes...

 By: edo.k : September 2nd, 2021-09:16
I understand on three Beast remakes to keep it close to original, but don't know why going back to rubber on the baby blue/orange and green as actual 42mm models have ceramic pushers and crown...

Happily for us old schoolers.

 By: MichaelC : September 5th, 2021-23:44
I don't need ceramic on every version, and I have collected Offshore for 20 years now. That is how they were, I love it

Yes.
