Some new tools to go with the old

Jul 06, 2022,14:29 PM

I have been mostly away from golf these past 4 years or so.  Life sort of got in the way.  Getting back in the swing now, and bought some new irons for the first time in 20+ years.  I ordered a 5-GW.  I still hit a 4 iron decent enough, and probably will add one to match the new set.  For now, I dug up another 20+ year old club from AP, which happens to also be a Mizuno.  A well matched bag smile

It's good to get back. I do love the game.

Absolutely love golf. As soon as you start back you'll make the time for it. It's a great hobby to have especially for keeping up with friends and will be there for my retirement hopefully. I'm playing at least 3 games a week with the longer brighter even...

Keen eyes! I carried a 19 degree hybrid to the range session after that photo

I just don't hit it well and never play with it. But I wanted to try it again. I hit it well only now and then. Would love to get to Ireland and play together!

Honestly, in the past 5 years I have added virtually no AP swag, but I do have some older trinkets. My favorite single item is the cigar plugger, and I hardly smoke them. But I love that tool. When I bought my first AP in 2001, the brand was so much more ...
