If it was purchased new from an authorized dealer I am sure AP will take care of it immediately. If it was purchased pre-owned or through non authorized channels, contact the seller immediately and get a refund. Something so catastrophic can be as simple ...

Thanks Thomas, Its was purchased through a not-so-close friend in New York and had the warranty card with it. I have send it to AP Ottawa Service Centre .. Its just disappointing. I'm trying to trace the retail shop !
