Question about Dial on Remaster01
I have a question about the outer ring numbers found on the dial of a Remaster01. It appears they go counterclockwise and from 00 to 1000.
I'm not familiar with these type of markings.
Is there a name for this type of dial markings ?
Is there a website where I can learn more about this type of dial markings ?

That's a tachymetre scale
To calculate the number of events (miles, etc.) per hour. Thus, if one event takes 3.6 seconds, there will be 1000 of those events per hour. You time how long it takes for one event and then refer to the outer ring to see how many would occur per hour.
The top marking isn't 00, it's 60
If one mile takes 60 seconds, you're going 60 miles per hour.
It is lovely...too bad they didn't stay true to the original...
...and use a manual-wind movement. It would have made the watch much slimmer than it is.
If you're doing 1 of them in 60 seconds, then you're doing 60 of them in an hour.
Could be kilometers, centimeters, light-years, cubits, furlongs, nautical miles, etc. I rarely use a chronograph for this kind of thing, I have to admit!

Seems it would be a more complete timepiece with a manual winder.
