I used to have two ROO Chronos, which is a watch I love, but a bit too large for my wrist.
The first was a Rubberclad. One day I noticed that the rotor was turning in "free mode", not really winding the mainspring.
The second was the Panda. One day it simply stopped running, no way to restart it.
Both issues where fixed by AP under warranty, but I ended up selling the watches. Nothing to do with the issues.

I bought it preowned from a friend very reputable dealer, I'm sure they will take care of it if I ask. But they will use most likely their own watchmaker. I might prefer to take it myself to AP for a full service, but it has a cost. I believe I'll try to ...
This reference, which is the one I've always loved, was discontinued some years ago, so no other choice 😉
I'll monitor the performance a bit longer and I will definitely go back to the dealer to find the best solution. I definitely want to keep the watch and enjoy it.

My wife’s friend had the same problem with hers We sent it in for service but didn’t solve the problem so we got rid of it and no more AP’s for us

I had several APs , all of them had problems , bad power reserve or were not keeping time or both , all were serviced under warranty. You dont here a lot about it cause the die hard APs owners some times attack those who comment on faulty watches. Just lo...

. . . when you start wearing it? Some automatics need only eight or ten turns to make it thru the day on even the most sedentary wrist. Others, considerably more. Try waiting 'til it's wound down, then turning the crown twenty times. If it still runs down...

This is exactly what I'm trying to figure out these days. I normally don't pay much attention and no issues with other watches. I still need to test this baby a bit longer before making a decision.
