The strength of a tradition lies as much in its innate wealth as in its ability to evolve and be reinvented. Audemars Piguet vividly confirms this truth by presenting the new Openworked self-winding Royal Oak . While openworking or skeletonising movements...
what plenty of people in the industry wrongly referred to when they mention the forthcoming RO skeleton...i must have been affected,,,,,, Anyway....I am eagerly waiting........................ Mo
Jumbo as it is a common reference for the case rather than the movement.....its like Frigidaire or Hoover........ The RO 39 mm is known as Jumbo by the majority..... Mo
because both are Italian exotics. The Jumbo is an ultra thin; the 15300 is not. I suppose if someone wanted to call a 430 Ferrari a Ford because it has four wheels i wouldnt waste time arguing with them.
If you can install a rubberclad strap on the SS version? Because I am not really a fan of this model with the bracelet. Even the RG model may look good as well with the rubber strap. Anyone else agree?
Thanks Anthony for the news update. Hope all is well with you and family. It is good to see Royal Oak with a new skeleton model. I say the steel version match that movement finish better than the gold. Also, the new finishing and colour of the skeleton mo...

Looking for an anniversary gift for my husband that looks as gorgeous as this one. He has an RO city of saills, but I know he has been looking at openworked dials for a while now. Been looking around the web for one with a decent price. But most that I se...
What you are doing is highly admirable, not only getting your husband a well thought-out gift he'll love, you are even checking with the community to see you are making the right choices. Don't mean to sound like an old fart but sound like you're the wife...
Looked at the models you suggested. Since I don't know much about watches, I can only appreciate them visually. Didn't know this RO Openwork model was not out yet. Our 20th anniversary will be in March yet and I hope I can find the right RO by that time. ...
Hey, All of the watches in the current Royal Oak line have extravagant, precise and great quality movements. I think you will make a wise choice no matter wich AP you should choose. I think the openworked Royal Oak will be out by Febuary this year and sho...
Yes, I did see your email about going to authorized dealers. I haven't had the time to go out and check some dealers. Do you think they can match the prices of those selling on the web? A friend of mine actually suggested that I search the web instead bec...
Thanks Hampusw for the strap combo and I hope AP had a web tools that we can play along and shop straps online. I though I'd prefer the rubber strap but seeing it with other combination actually make me feel that an openworked dial should go with gator st...
